Nancy Thayer-Hart joined the CWHR in 2014 with a varied administrative and management background. She has collaborated with diverse teams and supported the success of projects of varying size and scope as an internal consultant and facilitator on the UW-Madison campus and as the manager of private sector business units. Her expertise includes coordinating complex operations and building effective and efficient systems and processes.
Nancy is the lead author and editor of how-to guides produced in collaboration with colleagues and campus partners, on topics such as designing and implementing surveys, facilitating meetings, and improving processes.
As program manager for the What Matters in Mentoring research project, Nancy supports the overall effectiveness of the team. She is responsible for organizing and managing schedules and processes, monitoring the budget, and coordinating team communications. Nancy also participates in developing research protocols and instruments, assists with qualitative data collection, and contributes to the writing and editing of project publications.
